Swedish Care International will serve as an adviser in the national elderly care e-learning project in Poland

    March 15, 2021

After one year of preparations, we are glad to start a new project in Poland! Swedish Care International will serve as advisors for elderly care training and e-learning development in the EU co-funded project that will be implemented by QS Zurich’s office in Poland. We will help to develop an e-learning and support program for 50+ aged care employees based on some of the best practices of elderly care in Sweden and our expertise in developing e-learning solutions.

The project “Advanced support program for small and medium enterprises providing care services – Swedish age 50+ employees model adaptation” is co-financed by the European Union – European Social Fund, implemented throughout Poland under “Knowledge, Education and Development Operational Program”, Innovation Priority Axis IV social and transnational cooperation, measures 4.3. Transnational cooperation.

The project is aimed at introducing the maintenance model to the Polish market and at extending the professional activity for carers of the elderly, preparing solutions to maintain professional activity of employees in pre-retirement and retirement age, focusing on age 50+. The project proposes to introduce an age management program. This is to prevent the early retirement process and to promote the extension of the period of professional activity of the employed staff in the care industry.

Project initiative is to implement below listed products to help achieve the intended goal:
    • Support programs for carers of the elderly after reaching pre-retirement and retirement age.
    • A coaching and training program that takes into account both the elements of the services provided and the difficulties arising from current epidemiological threats.
    • A comprehensive training system for caregivers in the form of stationary and e-learning.

Swedish Care International’s team will advise on e-learning design and content questions and will share the best practices of elderly care applied in Sweden.
