- Swedish Care International was founded to make knowledge of Swedish Stiftelsen Silviahemmet – a pioneer in dementia care education – available worldwide.
- Founded by HM Queen Silvia of Sweden in 1996, Stiftelsen Silviahemmet currently is a Swedish centre of excellence in dementia care and their dementia care methodology is widely recognised internationally.
